Resetting your customers password – Cloud Backup PLUS

PLEASE NOTE: you will only be able to do this if the option was select when the account was created, or if “Allow to reset my password” is selected on the backup client on the end user machine, this is in Settings>Account.

Login to your reseller portal, go to “Customers” along the top and select “View Cloud Backup PLUS Customers”.


From the list that appears select the customer you wish to reset the password for. When the “Customer Detail” page opens, on the right hand side you will see “Cloud Backup PLUS Account Overview”. And there will be an option “Password: Manage”.  If don’t see this option please call us.


Select on Manage to reset the password.  You will first have to enter your password, this is for your reseller account.


You will then be able to reset the password for your customer, ensure you select “Also apply changes to the Cloud Backup PLUS account” in the dropdown before entering the new password.


Set what you would like the password to be and press “>>”



You will then see this window again, but as you can see from the top, the password has been updated.
