How to Decrypt Local Backup Files - SAFE Backup

Any backups you have on a local drive can be decrypted via the backup client. Login to the client and select "Utilities"

Select "Decrypt Backup Data" on the left and on the right hand side use the "browse" function to navigate to where the local backups are stored. You want to select the folder names with the backup set numbers and then the "blocks" folder in that location and press "ok".

Next you will need to select the files to Restore, either the whole location on the left, or you can be more selective with the files on the right.

You can next choose where to restore the files to, either the original or alternative location, "advanced options" allows you to do some more with the files. Press "Restore" bottom right when ready.

You will be shown a progress bar and told when it has been completed. When done press "close" and "cancel" out of the restore windows.
