View/Edit the files select for backup – SAFE Backup PLUS

Login to the back client, select the protected item in question and go to “Edit settings”:

Here you can see the items you have selected for backup, any exclusions you have will be here as well:

To add files, select “Items”, then “Custom”. Via the drop down on the right you can either choose an item, add a single folder or file etc. I always select “Choose item” as this allows you to View all the files and be more selective.

Use the file system to select what you want to add:

The dark squares indicate the location already has items selected for backup. Anything you want to add select by ticking the box next to it.

You can either select the whole file:

Or drill down to remove specific items. When completed press “ok”.

You will then come back to the items page where you will see what you have added, press Save when ready.

It will then take you back to the initial job history of this backup after updating:

Run a manual backup or wait for the schedule.
