SQL error “Backup, file manipulation operations and encryption changes on a database must be serialized” – SAFE Backup PLUS

You may see an error on an SQL data base:

Backup, file manipulation operations (such as ALTER DATABASE ADD FILE) and encryption changes on a database must be serialized. Reissue the statement after the current backup or file manipulation operation is completed.

This is likely caused by a previous backup being stuck running, please contact us and we can stop this backup, next backup should be successful unless there is a different error.
