SAFE C2C reauthentication, MS Graph API

Microsoft will begin gradually deprecating the EWS API on June 30, 2026, with full deprecation scheduled for October 1, 2026. Starting in May 2026, we will begin migrating all backup tasks to the Microsoft Graph API.

As part of this process, backup tasks will need to be reauthorized and granted consent to the new required Microsoft Graph permissions.

We strongly recommend completing this reauthorization as early as possible, and preferably before the end of June 2026, to ensure a smooth transition. Once reauthorized, backups will be gradually migrated to Graph API in the background with no further action required.

You will need to login to your SAFE C2C account and re-authenticate the backup tasks with the orange warning circle next to them.

Click on the job, then on the green “Connected” button. If yours says “Disconnected” and is in red it needed reauthenticating anyway.

The admin account will be shown in “Account”, you will need to press “Authenticate” and enter the credentials of the MS admin account.
