How to Run a Manual Backup - SAFE Backup PLUS

Log into your SAFE Backup PLUS account, you can either right click the Protected Item you wish to backup and select "Backup", or select the Protected Item and select "Backup now" on the right.

This will open up a new window and from here you need to confirm the protected item you wish to backup from the drop down, press “next” when ready.



Next you will be asked to select the Storage Vault to backup to, if you have different storage locations you will be able to select them in the drop down. “Show advanced options” gives you some options to set for the manual backup you are about to run. Press “Backup” when ready.
 

You will then be taken back to the protected item view and be able to see the backup running.


When finished you will be able to see the status of the backup in the status column. You can view a detailed report via the “detailed log” button”.
