How to find the version number of the Backup Client - SAFE Backup

To find the version number of the backup client you are using, login to the backup client and select the information icon on the top right.

From here, it shows the version number you are currently running. In this example it is 8.7.0.0

In Version 6, you can find the version number by selecting the Question Mark icon near the bottom left corner.  If running Version 6, we recommend upgrading for a far better backup and restore speeds, plus additional features.  You can upgrade your client by simply downloading the newest version of the client from our website here.

• Run a backup from System Tray icon – SAFE Backup
