How to be more selective with the files you backup - SAFE Backup

You may need to be more selective with the files you are backing up in a set, especially when the C:Drive or your desktop are concerned.

Please login to your client and navigate to "Backup Sets", from here select the backup set in question and navigate to "Source" down the side.

You should then see an option at the bottom of the "Backup Source" page that says "I Would like to choose the files to backup" - select this.

From here you will see the file breakdowns, select "Show files" at the bottom, this will allow you to be more selective with the files.

Expand to the locations you would like to select on the left, from here you can see files/folders in the right. In this example I have selected the "Users" folder and "Temp" folder in the C:Drive, however on the right hand side of the window I have deselected on of the files in the "Temp" file so it is only backing up the .png file. Once you have made your selecetion please press "Ok". You will then be back on the "Backup Source" page.

Once completed please press "Save". If no other changed are to be made on the client please log out.
