Edit your retention policy on the backup client – SAFE Backup PLUS

Login to the client, select the Protected Item you wish to change this for and select “Edit Settings”



Select “Retention” along the top and select the backup vault in question, press the pen icon to the right to edit.


From here you will get a “Retention Policy” window come up. Change the toggle to “Only Keep” and press the “+” to add a new range in the “Retention Range” box that opens.


As you can see, you can be as specific as you need to be, different options in the drop down will allow you enter different information.

   

Press “OK” when you are done and it will appear in the retention policy.



If you have an existing policy and want to edit it select on the range and press the pen icon to make the changes you wish.


Alternatively you can turn on “Keep all backups forever” via the button and press “ok”.
