Click the Recovery element from the Navigation Panel. The
Restore & Download page is displayed with all your active backup
details. Select “Salesforce”.
Next you will need to select what you wish to restore from.
In this example we are selecting “Via snapshot”.
You
will need to enter the date range you wish to restore and press “continue”. A
list of backup snapshots within that range will be displayed, select the one
you wish to recover via the toggle box to the left.
OPTIONAL: You can use the search icon under “action” to drill down into the snapshot to view the structure of the backed up data, here you can select one or more items for recovery, select via the toggle box.
Once you have select the snapshot or individual items the “Restore” and “Download” buttons become available. In this example we are pressing “download”.
You will see a export request windows that will ask you to confirm the following:

here you need to specify the storage location to send the .zip file, you will
be asked for credentials or access tokens for locations other than “for
download”.
You also have the option to include:
- Deleted Items.
- Metadata – info about fields, configurations,
code, logic etc
Click OK. The download instructions are sent to your
registered email address. The download link is only valid for 72 hours.
Or, you can check the Jobs page. (See "Tracking
Recovery Tasks on the Jobs Page.") When the task is completed, the
Download Results button will be active.
