Creating a new vault on the installed client– Cloud Backup PLUS

It is good practice, when you have multiple large protected items, to not have them sharing the same vault.



NOTE: If making this vault after your protected item has been created, you will need to make sure the item is pointed to the correct vault.

NOTE: Make sure you match the retention policies if this new vault if replacing another one.

From on the backup client, select the ellipses on the right have side and select “Settings”.


On the “Storage Vaults” tab press “+” to create a new vault, select the “Private cloud” option (if you are a reseller you may see a different option) and press “ok”.


This will create the vault, from here you can select the new vault, select the pen edit icon and rename it if you wish. Don’t forget to change retention if you need to. Press “ok” and “Save” when done.
